Lulu Mae Works, was born as Lulu Mae Furnish to Frank Marion Furnish and Calla Jane Maxwell, on October 6, 1886 in Washington. She had thirteen brothers & sisters: Emma(1881-1881), Otis(1882-1882), Lora(1883), Dora(1885), Rita(1888), Roy(1890), Alta(1893), Ina(1895), Lloyd(1897), Arthur(1900), William(1903), Lawson'Pete'(1905),& Violet'Tootie'(1907).

On December 18,1904 she married William Wallace Works. They had five children: Irvin(1905), Louise(1906), Kenneth(1908), Laurette(1915) all born in Oregon & Dossie(1924)was born in Montana.

Not sure when they left Oregon to live in Montana. In 1910 they were in Oregon. Not sure just where they were in 1920, but in 1930 they were in Montana.

William die in May of 1971. Lulu died at Deaconess Convelesant Home, in Great Falls, Cascade Co, Montana, at the age of 89 on March, 19, 1976. She was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Fort Benton, Montana.
