Henry T. Ackerman, 83, of 530 Forest Ave., a printer at P. B. Haber Printing Co. until retiring in 1959. died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Agnes Hospital.
He was born Jan. 4, 1894, at Eden Valley, Minn., a son of the late Theodore and Mary Kohler Ackerman. On June 17, 1919, he married Clara Voss at St. Mary's Catholic Church here. and they observed their golden wedding anniversary in 1969.
Mr. Ackerman was a charter member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Holy Name Society, a lifetime member of Knights of Columbus Council 664 and American Legion. He served with the Army during World War 1.
Survivors include his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Peter (Helen) Anheuser of Fond du lac; a son, Dr. John Ackerman of Columbus, Ohio; nine grandchildren ; four greatgrandchildren; and a sister. Miss Mayme Ackerman of Fond du Lac. Two brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Zacherl Funeral Home and at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church.
