Margie Goode Newsome died February 1, 2010.
She was born August 13, 1922 near Van Alstyne, Texas to W. A. Goode and Rona Crook Goode.
Retired, she was a minister in the Church of God as an evangelist and pastor of churches in Texas and Mississippi.
Survivors include her daughter, Joyce Goss; son, Charles Francis; two stepdaughters, Warene Wall and Barbara Krumvieda; sister, Betty Todd; three grandchildren & two great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Dallas Newsome; her parents; son Jerry Francis; 2 brothers and four sisters all preceded Margie in death.
Funeral Service is 10:00 AM, Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Jaynes Memorial Chapel in Duncanville.
Burial will follow at 2:00 PM at Van Alstyne Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home.
Jaynes Funeral Chapel, 811 So. Cockrell Hill Road, Duncanville, Texas.
