George Washington Camp is the son of Hope Hull Camp and Jane Jennie Lindley Camp. He married Mary Frances Cook on Nov 14, 1865 in Walton Co., Georgia. Several children were born to this union. Seven are shown on the 1900 US Census: William H., Homer H., Clara E., Bertha S., Lucy M., Joe V., and Freddie C. Camp. In addition to these children Frank(Frances) and Alonza Camp are shown on 1870 and 1880 US census.
