My sister.
The second child (of eight) and second daughter of George and Mildred (Cooper) Gadzalinski. Her older sister Linda was born in July 1957. I was born a year later, in April 1959.
Baby Diane was born about three months premature (she was due July 11th). She was born at 8:40pm at St. Francis Hospital. She died at 5:45pm the next day. She lived for 21 hours. I was told she had dark hair (like my older sister Linda).
Baby Diane was buried on April 19, 1958 in the baby section of Saint Adalbert Cemetery.
Her grave was unmarked for many years. But in Oct. 1994, my (then) wife Suzette and I, purchased a small marker for her grave (see photo).
