Alexander Lefurgey was born July 9, 1821 to Catherine Mary (née Munro) and William Fenwick Lefurgey in their residence at Wilmot Creek. He was baptized on March 17, 1822 by Revd. F. Coyne in the United Church in Central Bedeque.
