Philip Arias, a devoted father and handsome man, departed this life on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 in Plano, Texas. Born May 21, 1929 in New Orleans and survived by his daughters: Grace Ann Arias Thompson and Phyllis Jean Arias Cahill; sons-in-law: Paul J. Thompson and Warren P. Cahill; granddaughter, Christina Lynn Fernandez and grandson-in-law, Johan E. Fernandez; cousins: Marie Trosclair and Luz Maria Bello Guevara, and special loving friend, Rachel Stroupe. Preceded in death by wife, Grace Lagasse Arias; a sister, Carmen Arias Ricketts; mother, Angelina Bello Arias; and father, Felipe Arias.
