"RICHFIELD SPRINGS---Johanna Andrecheck, 98, of Five Corners, New Berlin, died May 19, at Chenango Memorial Hospital, Norwich. She was born Sept. 13, 1884, in Ontario, Canada. She married Martin Andrecheck in 1910. He died in 1951. She was educated in Canada and moved to rural Mohawk in 1922 and to New Berlin in 1951. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Richfield Springs, and St. Theresa's Church, New Berlin. Survivors include four sons, James of Richfield, Thomas and Joseph, both of Florida, and Frank of California; three daughters, Helen Newell, Ellenville; Frances Ramsey and Dorothy Padget, both of New Berlin; a sister in Canada; 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was May 23 at St. Joseph's with the Rev. Owen F. Shanley officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Richfield."
