Marvin Floyd's Rite Held at Bethesda

Marietta, May 6—Funeral services for Marvin Floyd, 61, were conducted at Bethesda church Saturday p.m. May 1st by the pastor Rev B.F.Bogue.

Mr. Floyd died April 28 at the home of his brother David O. Floyd following an illness of about four weeks. He had not been in good health for over a year.

The choir composed of friends of the deceased with Rudolph Parnell at the piano sang a number of beautiful selections.

Pallbearers were nephews Pvt William P. Floyd, Cpl George Floyd, Dan C. Floyd of the US Navy, Vardell Hedgepeth, Edwin Green and James Henry Floyd.

The large number of beautiful floral designs completely covered the grave. Flower bearers were Mrs. Rudolph Parnell and nieces included Mmes. Blanche Hedgepeth, Louise Green, Lula Floyd, Gladys McLean, Misses Ruby, Reba, Betty Lou, Barbara Ann, Sadie Sue, Emily Laura, Pattie Jean and Sarah Margaret Floyd.

Mr. Floyd is survived by two brothers, David O. with whom he made his home and E.T. He will be greatly missed by his many friends.
