William Edward Dailey, 63, 1211 Skirvin St., died at 11:45 a.m. yesterday in the Cabell-Huntington hospital, Huntington. He had been working on a construction job when he became ill and was taken to the hospital where he died shortly after his arrival.
He was born in Jackson county, a son of the late William and Jane Dailey.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lena May Dailey; one daughter, Mary Dailey of the family residence; two sons, William E. Dailey, Jr. of Akron, and Leonard Dailey of Vienna; two sisters, Mrs. Lenie Eagon of Akron; and Mrs. Rachel Mercer of Richmond, Va.
The body was returned to Parkersburg and was received by the Franklin funeral home.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
