"Miss Marvyn Hays, 27 years old, died at her home, 706 Crawford Street, at 1:55 a.m. Friday. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hays; three sisters, Mrs. Lillian Erwin and Misses Loretta and Dorothy Hays, and one brother, James, all of Houston. The body will be sent by Settegast-Kopf to Franklin, Texas, Sunday night for burial. She was a member of the Lorenza, Texas chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star."
