Louisa was the daughter of Henry Langreder and his first wife, Louisa (Ristenpart) Langreder.

Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Bakhaus, aged resident
of Grant Park, who died Thursday of last week at the home of her son, Fred, were held Sunday afternoon, July 6th, at the Grant Park Evangelical church with the Rev. Edwin Wahl, officiating.

Mrs. Bakhaus, nee Langreder was born at Downers Grove, Ill., March 14, 1858 and was 83 years at the time of death. Death was due to the infirmities of old age.

On Nov. 22, 1878, she was united in marriage to Diedrich Bakhaus and to this union 12 children were born. Two of them are deceased namely, Emma Truback and Elmer. Her husband preceded her in death in 1926.

The following children survive: Louise Zimmerman, Momence; Carolina Heller, Beecher; Matilda Schultz, Indiana; Edna Werth, Marion, Iowa; Alice Hamann, Corunna, Mich.; Henry B., Monee; Alvina Hamann, Grant Park, Emil B., Corunna, Mich.; Ed of Harvey and Fred of Grant Park. She also leaves 27 grand children and 32 great grandchildren, a number of sisters and brothers and a host of friends and acquaintances.
