Mrs. Jane Clark Harvey, widow of Orpheus Harvey, an old and highly respected resident of Tacoma, died Sunday noon at her home, 2612 North Puget Sound avenue, at the age of 67 years. Mrs. Harvey had been in ill health for several years past, and with the feebleness of years the burden of ife became too great for the body to longer sustain. She was born in Lafayette, Ind., and came to Tacoma eleven years ago. She is survived by one son, Benjamin L. Harvey of the West Coast Grocery company, with whom she made her home. She leaves two sisters and two brothers. They are Mrs. C. A. Thompson of San Francisco, who was with her during her last illness; Miss Fannie N. Clark of Lafayette, Ind.; Dr. R. J. Clark of Montecello, Ind., and Allison Clark, also in the East.
Mrs. Clark was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal church. She was a woman of many kindly qualities and leaves many friends to mourn her death.
The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from te home, on Puget Sound avenue. Interment will be made in Tacoma cemetery.
