Mary Rotenberry (1922 - 2011) Mary E. Rotenberry, 88, of Pensacola, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 25, 2011. She was a faithful member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Brownsville until it closed and then attended Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. She retired from Kmart as manager of the camera department after 27 years.
She was preceded in death by Woodrow Rotenberry, her devoted husband of 44 years; sons, Mike and David Rotenberry; grandson, Sean Rotenberry; and her brother Michael Bohach.
She is survived by son, Charlie Rotenberry and his fiancé Ashley Foreman; daughter, Phyllis R. Taylor; grandchildren, Melissa, Charles (Jeanne), Nicole, and Haley Rotenberry; great granddaughters, Morgan and Alexis Rotenberry; sisters, Annie McMichael and Irene Long; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Mary had a wonderful, long life and brought a beautiful family into this world. She is now at peace, has joined her departed loved ones, and is enjoying eternal happiness with our Lord. We will miss her smile, her sense of humor, her guidance, her loyalty and above all, her abiding love.
The family will receive friends for a visitation at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 1616 N. 12th Ave., Pensacola from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, January 28, 2011, with the rosary being said at 4:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. Interment will follow services at holy Cross Cemetery. FAITH CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME SOUTH, 100 Beverly Pkwy., is in charge of arrangements.
