Funeral services for Clarence Earl Davis, 91, Stratford, will be 11 a.m. Thursday, January 27, 2011 at Lightning Ridge Baptist Church. The Revs. Randy McCowan and Earl Hood will officiate. Burial will be at Lightning Ridge Cemetery. Mr. Davis died Jan. 24, 2011, at Ada. He was born July 21, 1919, in Arkansas to Marion and Florence Cannon Davis. He was a government employee and served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of World War II. He is survived by one son, Earl Davis of Ada; one granddaughter, Amy Gutierrez, Ada; great-grandson, Gabriel, and two great-grand daughters, Lydia and Emily. Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his wife Hattie and several sisters and brothers. Bearers will be Glen Davis, Grant Davis, Richard Gardener, James Gardner, James Gardener, Al Miller and Ron Kelley. Pickard Funeral Home, Stratford.
