Edward Grant Dies Saturday Night in Birmingham Hospital
The death of Edward Grant, age 84, native of Pascagoula and a member of one of the oldest families of Jackson county, occurred Saturday at a hospital in Birmingham after a lingering illness.
Mr Grant who was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lafayette Grant, was the last survivor of that immediate family, three brothers and four sisters having preceded him to the grave, among them having been the late John O. Grant of Pascagoula. Burial services took place in Birmingham. His wife died several years ago.
