She was baptised Sept.16, 1821, Middlebury Cong. Church Records

After her marriage, Mary lived in Woodbury, Ct. where their 3 children were born.

They moved to Central Falls, R. I., where her husband worked as a dyer.

In 1858, Mary died from a sudden stroke, she is buried beside her father and mother, Uri and Betsy Manville.
" She was only sick 1/2 hour, she fell asleep with Jesus."

Mary Ann's daughter Josephine wondered if the town of Manville in R.I. was named after their Manville family.
We wrote to them, they were very nice, and sent us the history of their town.
The town was named after the Man family, they added the ville on the end.
