Robert Lee Smith, a summer resident of Flagler Beach for many years, died suddenly at his home here July 28. He was 72 at the time of his death and had lived in Crescent City and Seville most of his life.

Mr. Smith was a prominent cattleman, dealing in Brahman cattle in this county as well as Volusia and Putnam counties.

He is survived by his widow, Anna R. Smith, a son, Robert Borson Smith of Palatka; two daughters, Mrs. Myrtice Vinson, Lake City; and Mrs. E. Vivian Yarborough of Hastings. He also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Lilly Cadieuz of Atlanta and Mrs. Daisy Bricker in Georgia.

Funeral services were held last Sunday in Crescent City at the Howe Memorial Methodist Church and burial was in the family plot in Seville.
