She was born on April 10, 1931 in Upper Sandusky, to Frederick and Ruth (Shumaker) Snavely, both of whom are deceased. She married George E. Moll on August 9, 1949 at the St. Peter's Rectory and he passed away on May 10, 2004.
Phyllis is survived by 2 sons, Daniel L. (JoAnn) Moll and James D. Moll, both of Upper Sandusky. 2 Grandsons, Jason L. Moll of Upper Sandusky, and James M. (Kelly) Moll of Kirby. Along with 3 great grandchildren, Jason Anthony Layne, Delilah Rose Moll and Thomas James Moll. And a sister, Marcelin Ruffing of Bellevue, Ohio.
Phyllis was a homemaker and had worked for the former Kroger's Store and AAA Office
both in Upper Sandusky. She was a 1949 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School.
Phyllis was a long time member of the St. Peter's Catholic Church in Upper Sandusky.
She was a former advisor of the Snip & Clip 4H Club and along with her husband George, helped with the Cub Scouts in Upper Sandusky for many years.
For hobbies, she enjoyed camping and traveling throughout the United States with her husband. She loved crocheting and baking and watching "The Price is Right" and ‘Jeopardy", and following the OSU Buckeyes and the Cleveland Indians.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Phyllis A. Moll will be held at 11:00AM Friday, July 19, 2013 at the St. Peter's Catholic Church in Upper Sandusky with the Rev. J.R. Hadnagy, OFM Conv. officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
Visitations will be on Thursday, July 18, from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
