Cecil T. Morrow, Sr., 78, 318 Myrtle Ave., died at Ball Memorial Hospital Monday afternoon following an extended illness. He was an employee of Warner Gear for 45 years and had been retired for 12 years. He was a native of Tennessee and resident of Muncie for 55 years. He was a member of the UAW-CIO Local 287 and the Warner Gear Sympathy Club.

Surviving are his wife, Pearl; two daughters, Mrs. Fred Parr of Mission Eiejo, Calif., and Mrs. Jackie Thompson, Indianapolis; three sons, Newell of Palmdale, Calif., Norman of Indianapolis, and Cecil Jr., of Muncie; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Roy Northcutt and Mrs. Ethel Staggs, both of Muncie; and a brother, Herbert Morrow of Huntsville, Ala.

A daughter, Mrs. Faye Paddock, preceded him in death.

Services will be held at the Parson Mortuary Chapel Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. David Rutherford, pastor of the Church of Christ in Christian Union, officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and prior to services on Wednesday.
