Funeral services for Kathleen Griffith, 84, of Hanceville will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2006, at Hanceville Funeral Chapel, Dr. David McGowin and the Rev. Marvin Bryan officiating, with burial in Hopewell Cemetery.

Mrs. Griffith died Saturday, Jan. 7 in Hanceville. She was born in Hanceville on April 24, 1921, to Cornelius Greenberry and Idella Cone Hudson. She was a member of Hanceville First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include four sons, Martin Van (Laura P.) Griffith Jr. and Randy (Annette) Griffith, both of Birmingham, Brent Allan (Lisa D.) Griffith of Hueytown and Guy (Peggy) Griffith of Huntsville; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Thelma Pitts of Hanceville, Frances Quick of Pinson and Marie White of Trussville; a brother, Marion C. Hudson of Cullman; and special friend, Buddy Quick of Hanceville.
