Funeral services for Mary Thelma Pitts, 92, of Hanceville will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel; Bruce Dial and James Blackwood officiating; with interment in Fairview West Cemetery. Mrs. Pitts passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Hanceville Nursing and Rehab.
She was preceded in death by her parents, C.G. Hudson and Idella Cone Hudson; husband, Burney Pitts; sisters, Kathleen Griffith and Frances Quick and twin granddaughters, Cindy and Windy Pitts.
She is survived by two sons, Doug (Shirley) Pitts and Danny (Wilhelmina) Pitts; daughter, Peggy (Jack) Kyle; grandchildren, Jeff Pitts, Keith Pitts, Tim (Patricia) Pitts, Rich (Lana) Kyle, Nancy (Felix) Johnson , Travis Pitts, Chad (Ellen) Pitts and Matthew Kyle; twenty great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; sister, Marie (John) White; brother, Marion (Roseann) Hudson and special friends, Joan Edwards and Christa Pitts.
