Statesboro - Charlie Givens, 68, died Monday at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah after a short illness.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lunnie Mae Givens of Philadelphia, Pa.; four sons, Charlie Givens Jr. and Cecil Givens, both of Philadelphia, and Carl and C. John Givens, both of Statesboro; a sister, Mrs. Etta Brown of Richmond, Ind.; a brother, Jim Givens of Savannah; and six grandchildren.
Funeral: 3 p.m. today at Piney Grove Baptist Church in Statesboro, burial in the church cemetery. James R. Barnes Mortuary of Statesboro.
