Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Nazarene Church in Iberia for Mrs. Lulu Prock, 79. She died at 1:50 a.m. Thursday at the Miller County Nursing Home, Tuscumbia. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, the Rev. Don Tyler officiating.
Mrs. Prock was born Dec. 25, 1875, in Miller County, the daughter of Rueben and Martha Jane Short and was a lifelong resident of the Tuscumbia area. She was married in 1898 to James L. Prock who died in 1936.
Surviving are three sons, John Prock, Burbank, Calif.; and Sam and Ted Prock, both of Tuscumbia; two daughters, Mrs. Marie Beck, Iberia and Mrs. Gladys Briant, Las Vegas, Nev.; a brother, Elmer Short, Dallas, Tex.; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
