Cyrus M. Shiplett
Funeral services for Cyrus M. Shiplett, 82, of Clayton Township, Perry Co., will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Joseph's Church, Somerset, followed by burial in the church cemetery by the Berkhimer funeral home. The body is at the residence. Mr. Shiplett died at his home Friday evening, following an extended illness of two years.
He is survived by his wife Cora; two sons, Homer, of Akron, and Leonard, of the home; three daughters, Mrs. John Dunkle of Zanesville, Mrs. David Slanaker, of Dearborn, Mich., and Mrs. Lewis Stalter, of Cleveland; 43 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; two brothers, Joseph of Somerset, and William, of New Lexington; and one sister, Mrs. Cora Williams, of Zanesville.
