Puff was a resident of Best Friends Animal Society, part of the Guardian Angel Program for animals with special needs.
On August 28th at 4:10 PM Puff died in the arms of a caretaker at the Bunny House at Best Friends. About two months earlier It was noticed that Puff was slowing down and seemed to be breathing hard. She was taken to the clinic and x-rays and ultrasound diagnosed Puff with an enlarged heart. She was started on heart medications.
The day before her passing she appeared very uncomfortable so she was brought back to the clinic. Sadly, Puff had a very large mass in her abdomen. She was not a candidate for surgery because of her delicate heart condition. There was nothing that could be done for her. The doctors decided that we needed to help her pass. However, Puff did not make it until the time of the appointment.
Puff lived a good life, she was an opinionated girl, who shook her head "no" when she was upset, was particular about her friends and caressed your cheek with her nose when contented. She will always be remembered by many.
