Funeral services for Della Kellar,82,Megargel, were held September 14 in the Lunn Funeral Home Chapel in Olney with Dan Hooper, the pastor of the Christian Fellowship Church in Megargel officiating.
She died September 11, 1998, in a local nursing home.
Born July 24, 1916, in Hollis, Oklahoma, she was a daughter of the late Stephen Alexander and Rebecca Jane (Totty) Barker. She and J.D. Kellar were married December 7, 1935, in Georgetown. He died November 2, 1986.
She was a member of the Christian Fellowship Church and was a homemaker. She had lived in Megargel since 1956 and had also lived in Breckenridge.
Survivors include five sons, Gene Kellar, Charles Kellar and Stevy Kellar, all of Megargel, Jimmy Kellar, Terrell, and Dennis Kellar, Olney; three daughters, Myrna Whitmire and Retha Stewart, both of Megargel, and Marquetta Echols, Olney; brother, Earnest Barker, Eastland; siser, Ella Mae Kellar, Olney; 25 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.
