Pearl Wallace was the daughter of William and Emma Wallace. Her parents were traveling by covered wagon in the spring of 1892 when they stopped in at a farm and Pearl was born. She was named after the farmers wife.

She was married to Si Bostick in 1910 and they had one son William Edward. The marriage only lasted a year and a half when they separated. By 1914, they officially divorced.

Her second marriage was to Joe Seaburn Rowell whom she called Mr. Rowell due to the age difference. They had two sons Louis and Prentice. She was also a step mother to his three sons Alvin, Ernest, and Jess.

After Joe's death Pearl inherited the farm. They grew cotton and sold it until the dust bowl hit Texas and then they abandoned their property because of the drought.

Pearl moved to Arizona with her son's family. While in Arizona she married her third husband Alfred Mitchell. Their marriage didn't last many years by the mid 1940's they were not together but as far as I know they never divorced. I do not know what happened.

By the late 1940's Pearl was living in Los Angeles to be near several family members. She loved to knit, sew and crochet. She was always making afghans, clothing, dolls, and quilts for her grandchildren.
