Mr Blair was in the best of health but became ill and died very suddenly. He was employed until recently in the American Sheet and Tin Plate Company at Vandergrift.
Surviving are his wife and eight children as follows: Mae, Twila, Ozelma, Hazel, Willavene, Frances, William and Roland, all at home. Also by his mother, Mrs. Emma Blair, of Rimersburg, and the following sisters and brothers: Wylie, Henry and Joseph, of Rimersburg; Wilbur of Kokmo, Indiana and Earnest of Canton, Ohio and Mrs. Perry Bodenhorn of Rimersburg.
Funeral services were held from the home Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock and were in charge of the Rev. R. Parker Andrews, the pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal church at Vandergrift.
Burial was made in the Vandergrift cemtery. Mr. Blair was born and raised in Porter Township, Armtrong County.
