Rimersburg--Mrs. Fransis Stewart, 57, of 226 Acme Street, Rimersburg, died in the Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, following a short illness, on Sunday evening, May 11, 1980.
She was born March 30, 1923, in Vandergrift, a daughter of Arthur B. and Anna Blanche Doutt Blair.
Mrs. Stewart was a custodian at Union High School. She was a member of Jerusalem United Church of Christ in Rimersburg and the Sligo Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She married Edwin B. Stewart, who died in 1979.
Mrs. Stewart is survived by: three sons, Dennis B., Terry B., and Randall R. Stewart, all of Rimersburg; a brother, Ronald Blair of New Orleans, La.; three sisters, Mrs. Mazie Carney of Indiana, and Mrs. Twila Ritchey and Mrs. Edmond (Hazel) Stewart, both of Philadelphia; and, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was proceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) in the Richard D. Hillis Funeral Home, J.D. Miller, supervisor, with John W. Gareis, pastor of Jerusalem United Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will be in Rimersburg Cemetery.
