This is a handpainted wooden plaque that was displayed at the Barrington Yacht Club, Barrington, RI where Douglas was a member for many years. His daughter, Jean Young Haley designed the logo for his boat "The Seahorse". She shaped the seahorses to form the letter Y, for Young.

A plaque of "The Sea Horse", Douglas beloved boat. It was built c. 1930 and had one sister-ship to it. Gorgeous boat, so many memories. The plaque was presented to him by his 3 daughters, for his b'day April, 1962.

1942, at the family home in Providence, RI. L-R: his twin daughters: Jean & Martha, his wife Louise, daughter Mary and Douglas. Martha's fiancé, Roger was overseas in the Army WWII about to arrive home to marry her!

The Bentley. Douglas gave this to his wife, Louise. She didn't drive, so they had a chauffeur who was Douglas' "our man Friday', "Jake".

The Pawtucket Mill complex that Douglas acquired for his fancy paper box company. He made many upgrades and the building is now (June 24,2015 announcement) listed with the National Park Service has added the Standard Paper Box Corporation Plant to the National Register of Historic Places.

Douglas purchased 5 plots with this stone. For he, his wife and 3 daughters. All will be buried there except for one daughter, Martha. Her name will be on the stone but her ashes will be with her husband, Charles Roger Williams.
