Robert E. Bartley Sr., 79, of Lafayette, died Monday, Jan. 17, 2011, at St. Elizabeth East hospital.
He was born Jan. 2, 1932 in New Richmond to the late Hiram and Alta Mae Myers Bartley. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Wilma Jones, and a grandchild, Stacey Brown. On Aug. 14, 1959, he married Lora Lee Lohrman in Lafayette, and she survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Steven Bartley of Peshtigo, Wisconsin and Robert E. Bartley Jr. of Lowell; three daughters, Robin Brown (husband: Jeff) and Debbie Toth, both of Lafayette, and Linda Perry (husband: Jack) of Crawfordsville; a sister, Ruby Moore of Lafayette; eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He served in the U.S. Army.
