Ruby L. Moore, 90, of Lafayette, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 4:45 a.m. at Franciscan Health Lafayette East Hospital.
She was born on December 31, 1926 in West Point, IN to the late Hiram and Alta (Myers) Bartley.
Ruby married John E. Moore on May 14, 1946 in Lafayette, Indiana. He preceded her in death on July 24, 2001.
Professionally, Ruby was a bookkeeper for Welfare Finance Corp., retiring after 23 years. Ruby previously worked at Cooperative Finance for 6 years.
Ruby enjoyed watching gameshows and college basketball. She liked to put together picture puzzles and complete word search puzzles. Ruby regularly played Bingo with her friends and was a member of First Assembly of God.
She is survived by one son; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Ruby is preceded in death by siblings Wilma Jones and Robert Bartley.
