Arthur R. Deppe, of 323 E. 9th St., Northampton, died Wednesday in Allentown Hospital. He was the husband of the late Florence (Henry) Deppe.
He was a machinist for Car Parts, Allentown for many years before retiring in 1964.
Born in Walcksville, Carbon County, he was a son of the late Alfred and Delilah (Deppe) Deppe.
He was a member of Bethany Bible Fellowship church, Catasauqua, where he was superintendent of the Sunday school,a delegate, teacher and a board member.
Surviving are a son, Dr. Donald of Burke, Va; a daughter, Doris, wife of James Wire of Allentown; a brother, Burton A.,
of Slatington, a sister, Helen, wife of Kenneth Cressman of Philadelphia; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the church calling hours will be 7-8:30 p.m. Friday in the Schister Funeral home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton.
