Doris M. Walz, 85, of Aurora, passed away on September 16, 2006 at Jennings Terrace. She was born March 9, 1921, the daughter of Adolph and Bertha (Kramer) Camenisch in Peru, Illinois.
Doris married George Walz on June 28, 1921 in Aurora. She had two sons, Richard and Stephen. She was very active in her church, St. John's United Church of Christ, and was much loved by everyone she knew.
Survivors include her two sons, Richard (Tina) Walz of Aurora and Stephen (Penny) Walz of Sycamore, nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother James (June) Camenish of Escondido, CA and one sister Dorthy Swanson of Stromsburg, NE.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George and one brother Harold Camenisch.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 23, 2006 at 10 AM at The Healy Chapel, 332 W. Downer Place, Aurora, IL. There will be no visitation.
