George was the husband of Mary Hunter, and to their union were born George Hunter, Mary Jane, and Margaret. These three are the only known children that are positively identified at this time. He lived in the village, settlement, or townland of Eskanabrogue approximately five miles northwest of Clogher, County Tyrone. He was a tailor and farmer.
