Henry John Blomberg, 67, St. Anthony, died Saturday at his home. He was born Oct. 27, 1928, in St. Anthony, a son of George and Josephine Schaffer Blomberg. He was married June 28, 1942, in St. Elizabeth....

A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, he was a farmer. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, St. Anthony, the USDA Farm Service Agency Committee and Iberia Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6167.

Other survivors include: four sons...; five daughters...; three sisters...; 21 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. One daughter, Mary Clark, died Dec. 13, 1988.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church. The Rev. Clarence Wiederholt will officiate. Burial with military honors, will be in St. Anthony Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at St. Anthony Parish Hall, with a Christian wake service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia.
