Born Sept. 23, 1893, Castle Gate, to Reese and Mary Young Lewis. Married Sariah Pulsipher Sept. 24, 1914, Provo. Retired coal miner. Member, United Mine Workers of America, Local 5916.

Survivors: widow; son, daughters, Evan A. Jr., Castle Gate; Mrs. Mario (Beth) Colaizzi, Mrs. S.E. (Darlene Mary) Daniels, both Kearns; 10 grandchildren.

Funeral Monday, 12:30 p.m., Castle Gate Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Friends all Saturday, Sunday, Mitchell Funeral Home, Price, Monday prior to services at chapel. Burial Price City Cemetery.
