COOKEVILLE - Funeral services for Mary Elizabeth Davis
Jones, 81, of Cookeville will be held Tuesday, January 1, at l0 a.m. from the chapel of Hooper & Huddleston
Funeral Home. The body will be transferred to Ellis Funeral Home in Nashville where services will be held
Wednesday, January 2, at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Nashville.
Mrs. Jones died Sunday (December 30, 1990) at Cookeville General Hospital.
Born in Cookeville, she was the daughter of the late Origin Morrow and Rufus Catherine Bruce Davis.
Her family includes one daughter, Frances Jones Davis of Cookeville; two sisters, Minnie Dixon of Nashville and Viola Burton of Smithville; five granddaughters, Patricia Gilley, Janice Brockette, Linda Gentry, Mary Fishback and Cathy Sliger; 12 great-grandchildren and one great-
great-granddaughter.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 6-8 p.m.
Dr. Charles McCaskey will officiate at the services.
