Emil was the son of Otto Edward & Wilhelmine Schultz. He had three other brothers whose names were William, August & Edward Schultz. He was a farmer and he retired from farming (due to emphysema, which was caused by his being a chain smoker for many, many years), and lived in a home with this wife Minnie, next to Silver Lake, which is just outside of Wautoma Wisconsin. They enjoyed living there for many years until Uncle Emil passed away. After that his wife Minnie continued to live there until her death. She died, alone at home and was found by a family member.
