Neshkoro - Darrell Wayne Schultz, age 83 of rural Neshkoro, Town of Marion, passed away Friday afternoon, August 24, 2018 at ThedaCare Medical Center in Berlin. He was surrounded by the love of his family.

Darrell was born October 19, 1934 in the Township of Marion, Waushara County, the son of Emil and Minnie (Pretz) Schultz. He was raised in the Town of Marion, and was a 1952 Graduate of the Wautoma High School. He married Bernadyne Scovell on October 9, 1954 at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Neshkoro. Darrell and Bernadyne would have celebrated their 64th. Wedding Anniversary this October. Their marriage was blessed with 2 daughters, Ellen and Linda.

Darrell was a dairy farmer all his life. He lived on the same farm in the Town of Marion since he was 2 years old. He worked the farm with his father, Emil. He then owned and operated the farm with his wife, Bernadyne and his family until he retired in 2002, but still enjoyed helping with raking hay.

Darrell was a life-long member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Neshkoro. He was a great outdoorsman. When he wasn't working the farm, he loved activities where he was able to enjoy being outdoors. In addition to hunting and fishing, he loved trap shooting, shooting pool and building and collecting gasoline engines. In his later years, he loved sitting in his chair on his porch. MOST of all, he loved his wife and family.

Survivors include his wife Bernadyne; 2 daughters, Ellen Caswell of Redgranite, and Linda (Mark) Pomplun of Pine River; 5 grandchildren, Sarah (Brian) Petit of Poy Sippi, Lisa (Jeremy) Krueger of Neshkoro, Michael (Annamae) Caswell and Matthew (Elizabeth) Pomplun, both of Berlin, and Ashley Pomplun of Plover; and 4 great-grandchildren, Connor, Kaylee, Aubrey and Aiden.
