Mrs. Ray Dessel Dies in Iowa After Long Illness
_Friends here in Maysville were sorry to hear of the death of Mrs. Ray Dessel of West Union, Iowa, former Maysville resident, who passed away last Thursday morning after a six months illness.
_Mr. and Mrs. Dessel operated the Woodward Clothing Store in Maysville several years ago and were very active in all community affairs.
_She is survived by her husband, Ray Dessel of West Union, Iowa, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Black of Baldwin, Kansas and two brothers, George Black and Don Black and one sister, Gladys Padgett.
_Funeral services were held Monday morning at 11:00 a. m. at West Union Iowa with burial there.
