Stanislaus J. Breighner, 67, 42 East middle street, died Saturday in the Hanover general hospital,. He was a son of Jacob and Angeline Groft Breighner. Surviving are his wife Mrs. Corrine M. Smith Breighner; three sons: Robert James Sr., Hanover; Francis Joseph Sr., Baltimore and Richard James Breighner, McSherrystown and four daughters: Mrs. Violet M. Breighner, Alexandria, VA; Mrs. Angela A. Wagaman, Lancaster; Mrs. Carita R. Dubs, Hanover; Mrs. Margaret Mary Coulson, Berryville; 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was predeceased by his first wife Elsie Mae (Sprengle) Breighner, and children Thomas Crisdow and Stanislaus Joseph Breighner.
Mr Breighner was a retired sexton of St. Joseph's Catholic church, where he served 31 years. He was a member of St. Joseph's church and the Holy Name Society.
