Thursday, July 4, 1991 at Mason District Hospital in Havana, IL.
Funeral services were held Sunday, July 7, 1991 at Lintner-Buchanan Funeral Home in Chandlerville. The Reverend Dennis Brooks officiated.
Burial was in Chandlerville Cemetery.

She was born June 11, 1895, in Merrill, WI, to Bryon and Emma Strickland Lamberant. She married Charles Amant on July 1, 1922, in Merrill. He died in 1942.
Also preceding her in death were one son, Jack, and one daughter, Mary Helen Coyle.
Surviving are two sons, Richard of Havana and Charles of Vermillion, SD; four grandchildren; and two great-
grandchildren.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, she taught school for many years in Chandlerville and Ashland.
Mrs. Amant was a charter member of the Chandlerville American Legion Auxiliary Post and a 78-year member of the Merrill Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star in Wisconsin.
