LOUIS SIGLER - South Rockwood - died Sept 20, 1960 Louis Sigler, 79, of Armstrong Road, was found dead in his house trailer at noon Monday by his nephew, Oliver Bathgate. Coroner Harold F. Maurice said death was caused by a cerebral hemorrhage. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the Clark H. Ford and Son Funeral Home at Rockwood. The Rev. Fred Knecht will officate, and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at South Rockwood. Born Sept. 6, 1881 in Berlin Township, he was the son of John and Mary Sigler. He married Stella J. Souva Sept 30, 1910 in the St Charles Church rectory at Oldport. Mr. Sigler, a retired farmer, farmed on the corner of Sigler Rd. and Brandon Rd. at South Rockwood. He was a lifelong resident of Berlin Township. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Charles McLaughlin of Taylor Township, Mrs. Robert Sisung of Newport and Mrs. Arthur MacArthur of Cheyenne, Wyoming; two sisters, Mrs. Walter Mortemore of Trilby, Ohio, and Mrs. Ernest Bathgate of South Rockwood, and seven grandchildren.
