Mrs. Waltman was born Sept. 6, 1895, in Polk County and died Thursday, July 24 in a Lufkin hospital. Mrs. Waltman was a homemaker and mother. She was a charter member of the Denman Avenue Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school for 50 years. Mrs. Waltman had received the Brothers Keeper Award and was a WMU worker. She was a former resident of Polk Co. and had lived in Angelina Co. most of her life.
