Roy W. Greenleaf, aged 70, a retired state employee, collapsed and died in the living room of his home at 29 Governors Ave Medford, MA. A native of Rockland ME, he had resided in Medford for 20 years. He had been employed by the state for 39 years before he retired last February. For 18 years he was principal clerk at Massachussetts Maritime Academy in Hyannis, MA. He was a veteran of the Spanish-American War, and also served in World War One. He leaves his wife Nellie Blanche (Blackie). He leaves two sons, Robert M., of Atlantic City, NJ, and Russell N. of Medford, MA. Three daughters, Mrs Helen F. Blauvelt and Mrs Marion B. Rocci of Medford, MA and Mrs. Edith F. Lawton of Athol, MA; also 11 grandchildren. He was the son of the late Charles M and Florence Ada (Smith) Greenleaf.
