Mrs Belle A. Holcombe. 73, Gadsden Route 6, died Friday in a local hospital.
Funeral services will be held today at 2 p. m. in the Collier-Butler Chapel with Revs. Jim Griffin and Hollis Preston offidating. Burial will be in Whites Chapel Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will include Louis Garrard, Clarence Higdon, John Wilson, Clifton Bradley, Charles Lynch and Richard Bush.
She is survived by five sons. James W., C. W., Grady L. and Bennie L. Puckett, all of Gadsden, and John R. Puckett, Mobile; a daughter, Mrs. Molly Jones, Gadsden; three stepsons, John L. Holcombe, Wallace, Ida., C. W. Holcombe, Collinsville, and J. L. Holcombe, Gadsden; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Gertrude Garrard, Gadsden, and Mrs. Lillie Mae Chastain, Attalla: 22 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Holcombe was a native and lifelong resident of Etowah County and a member of the Pascal Chapel Baptist Church.
The body will remain at Collier-Butler Funeral Home through the hour of service.
