She had lived in Megargel since 1959.
Bale Anderson Vaught married Irene Paite on 16 July 1910 at Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas. She moved to this area in 1914 from Buffalo, Texas.
She was a homemaker and member of the Megargel Assembly of God Church. She served as church secretary and quilted for the public for many years.
Survived by one son - Ottus V. Vaught of Hobbs, NM; two daughters - Ruby Irene Custer and Pearl F. Johnson, both of Longview; one brother - Wiley Pate; two sisters - Mamie Vaught of Fort Worth and Etta Pate of Waxahachie; five grandchildren.
