Bobby "Bob" Marion Beasley, 78, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011. Service: 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Greenwood Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Bob was born Feb. 7, 1932, in Eliasville to Vollie and Wiley Beasley. Bob served in the United States Army in the Korean War. He was married to his loving wife and best friend, Sue Beasley, for 25 years. They enjoyed their gardening, camping trips and going to their grandchildren's activities. He retired from Howell Instruments in 1992 after 33 years. He was preceded in death by his father and mother; and two brothers, Hayden and Edward Beasley. Survivors: Wife, Wanda Sue Beasley; son, Robin Ashcroft and wife, Aida; daughters, Jana Deakins and partner, Amy, and Debbie Pulcher and husband, Harold; sons, Mike Janzen and wife, Carolyn, Dale Janzen and wife, Tammy, and Daryl Janzen and wife, Leann; brother, Booty Beasley and wife, Ducie; grandchildren, Matthew, Rob, Julia, Ambra and husband, Justin, Scott, Chad, Russel, Andrew, Eric, Kolby, Jamie and Corinne; great-grandchildren, Austin, Adrienne and Maia; his beloved dogs, Sissy and Sydney; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
